Senator Lee Constantine has lived in Central Florida nearly all his life and graduated both from Lyman High School and the University of Central Florida. He is a consultant in commercial real estate and sits on the Board of Directors for DoubleVault Technologies, Inc.

Senator Constantine has been a public servant of Central Florida for almost 30 years. Lee got his first taste in politics in UCF’s Student Government and became Student Body President. In 1978, Lee was the youngest person ever elected to the Altamonte Springs City Commission. He has been Commissioner and Mayor of Altamonte Springs, a four term Representative of the Florida House and chair of the Seminole and Orange County Legislative Delegations. In 2000, Lee was elected to the Florida Senate and currently represents the citizens of District 22, covering parts of Orange and Seminole Counties. Richard Crotty grew up in Orlando, attending Orange County public schools, Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida (then known as Florida Technological University) where he majored in Public Administration and Communications. The year following his graduation from UCF, Mr. Crotty was selected to the prestigious Florida Legislative Staff Internship program where he attended Florida State University completing a graduate level executive program in Public Administration. Dr. Hickey earned a baccalaureate from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale (1967), a master's degree from Michigan State University (1968), and a doctoral degree from the University of Miami (Florida) in 1972.

Following postdoctoral training at the University of Wisconsin, he joined the faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he remained for 24 years. While moving through the academic ranks, he maintained a federally-funded program of research focused on the structural development of the primary visual pathway. In addition, he served in a variety of administrative roles, including founding director of the Vision Science Research Center, founding chair (graduate program director) of the Committee on Graduate Study in Neuroscience, dean and co-director of the Graduate School, assistant vice president for Health Affairs, associate vice president for Medical Center Programs, and associate provost for Academic Programs. read more...
